This comes from the New River List (North Carolina/Viginia). Thought
someone might be able to help to Bette Nelson on her RECTOR family. Sorry
it doesn't say anything about dates. Bette is usually more careful than
this. An aside--many genealogical "problems" can be solved by finding out
where the Culpeper area families migrated to. As we've seen they are both
South and West, usually in groups, not always "just" Germanna in origin, as
much time had passed between landing in Virginia and moving on to greener
pastures. The English and German families had become much assimilated by
the eve of the Revolution. (A topic I have frequently commented on with
little if any response).
