A special thanks to John Blankenbaker for the succint history of Germanna
just posted. For those of us who are fairly new to searching out our
Germanna ancestors, this article answered well the question, "Who are the
Germanna colonists?"
I plan to print out this article and pass it on to my children ... who at
this point in their lives (early 20s) don't quite understand why I'm so
interested in all these dead people. I will give my children credit: they
have chosen to humor dear old Mom and try to act interested, so there's
hope!
SOMEDAY I know they'll want to read this, and they'll be glad they did.
