Besides the Northern Neck grant to James Hurst that Craig mentioned here is
another land discription mentioning Great Fork Mountin and waters of Robinson
River together.

Madison county deed Book 3 page 73. 22 Aug 1801. Joel Yowell to Budd Haywood
317 acres in part described as " parcel of land on southeast side of GREAT FORK
MOUNTIAN and the waters of ROBINSON RIVER" and " on south side of CEDAR RUN".
Later in the discription the mountain is referred to just as FORK MOUNTAIN.
Adoining the land of William Hurt. This land is likely part of the estate of
John Yowell, deceased 1795.
