Oh no, Anita, I am not pessimistic at all here. Curious yes, and cautious as
well.
As in my previous comment I imagine well that we could find solutions to the
paternity questions regarding Ephraim Klug or Mrs Marbes, and to the fate of
the Stoever children. Nothing pessimistic about that.
I even imagine that we can find out who of the Germanna slaveowners
(Blankenbuecher, Carpenter, Clore, Jaeger, Klug, Wayland, Weber) may or may
not have had children from slave women. DNA research has great potential, and
I am not against "anything new" at all.
I merely asked John, the scientist, who knows so much about these chemical
lab matters if HE sees any problems, and I don't think a cautious question is
pessimistic per se. Do you want to censor mere questions?
