Hello, listmates.

Kathleen (Peter) Benckendorf (me)- James Peter - Charles M. Peter - Merriman
Peter and Catherine Lamb - William Lamb and Fanny Gaar - and I'm sure you're
all familiar with all the other connections of the Gaars - it's so nice to
have a branch of the tree so well documented. : )

The Peter family I have documented back to the 1700's in KY and VA, but am
not sure of where they first settled when they came over, supposedly from
England.

I only recently learned of the Germanna colonies and that the Gaars,
Wilhoits, Broyles, etc. were part of that group, and I'm looking forward to
listening and learning here.

By the way, I live in Lincoln County, MO, and I understand some of the
Broyles descendants of the Germanna colonies moved here as well.
