Pat I live in Calico Rock Arkansas. it's about a hundred and thirty , forty
miles from you. The Faught road is just west of the Frieden's church, when
you turn down the Faught road, I would say about a quarter of a mile, there
is an old farm house sitting close to the same creek the church is on. it
has an old stone spring house setting there in the yard beside the creek.
you can tell it is very old. there is also a Hugh barn, German in style.
of course this does not mean it is their home place but the stone
springhouse would have lasted through the years with only replacing the
roof. I have no proof of it being the home place but I feel it is very
likely. I don't know how to find out for sure. if it wasn't for the rise
of the pasture you could see the church from it. when we passed by I took a
picture of the springhouse, I can try to send you a copy of it. I didn't
get any more pictures because the people that lived there might not have
been to happy with me, it's a good way to get shot. ha ha. I have written
the library there and tried to get them to put me in contact with the family
that lives there but I didn't get a response from them.
by the way if you get any of these books that is mentioned would you
please tell me how to order them? thank you for writing me again. Dorene
