Sarge,
My mistake!
FamilyHistory.com does get you to Ancestry.com connection.
FamilyHistory.org gets you to something else. What? I don't know.
FamilySearch.org gets you to the Family History Collection of the LDS
church. I rarely use Ancestry, so had not noticed the change.
I have used FamilyHistory at Google so long to get to the Family History
Collection. The LDS Family History Library and Family History Centers was
using Family History before a number of others took it up. I hope someday I
can get the ducks lined up right as far as my memory goes.
I don't use URL or whatever those things are the have @ in them. The latest
technology isn't my thing. I'm still one of those who enjoy having only a
land phone.
If I could learn to use FamilySearch which is the name of the LDS website,
maybe I'd keep my head on straight.
Still Wipedia is a source that can be changed by easily by one who knows the
ropes.
Sorry, to have caused a few headaches for you good folk.
Cary
P.S. Now if everyone would change the subject line at least once in a great
while, we'd be getting somewhere faster. Also, clip away everthing not
needed for clarity from the previous message.
