Hi Diane,
I have a Mary Peters, born 02 Oct 1860, in Afton, Minnesota who married
Frederick Martin Johann Wilhelm Porth who was born 11 Jul 1856, in St
Johnsburg, Niagra County, New York. I also have Arthur Peters born 03
Jan 1919, married Lucille Porth born 09 Feb 1921. I have not researched
anything on the Peters family. I did a quick search on ancestry.com and
found a lot of Peters in the Washington, Ramsey County area of
Minnesota. I also found Joseph John Hoffman born 15 Mar 1917, married
Verona Elaine Meissner born 25 Jul 1925. Verona's parents were Raymond
Carl August Meissner (who's mother was a Markgraf) and Catharina Anna
Helena Wetzel (who's mother was Mary Helena Mordick). The Mordick family
from my dads fathers side and the Markgraf from his mothers side. Who
knows you may have some little tidbit of information that may help me or
I for you.
My family surnames: Wolf, Winges, Krech, Mohrdieck/Mordick, Purnhagen,
Markgraf, Borchardt, Mueller, Porth, Haase, Werth, Behm
Thanks for your reply,
Laurie
