Researching a German gal who was married at the
Bishops House near(?) the Old Catholic Cathedral 1849.

Why a French Priest at "the Bishops House" ??
Is anyone familiar with this procedure.

I have the date via both the index, and the original
record. (signed her name in old German Script)

Has anyone seen, or aware of, any Wedding
Announcements from that time period, in English or
German, from the parish itself, or local newspapers.
Would this be something worth pursuing.

Did the parish have a geographical region?

Any references appreciated.
