Subject: [Germans-STL] Roll Call- ~~~~~~~~~~

Greetings!
Looking for information concerning Philipp Christian ~~~~~~~~~~, weaver from
Hesse, Germany. Philipp Christian ~~~~~~~~~~ came to America via new
Orleans with his wife Anna Eva Preuser ~~~~~~~~~~ and sons John William,
John Christian, and John Philipp in 1842. Phillip Christian was born in
1795 in Nesbach, Nasau and died 1849. He is buried in the old Lutheran
Cemetary on Warson Rd between Ladue and Olive St. Anna was also born in
1795 and died in 1870. She is buried in the cemetary of St Paul's
Evangelical Lutheran Church on Olive and Link roads.(from the
"Watchman-Advocate" vol.48 no.8 Sept 21, 1928) I believe most St. Louis
~~~~~~~~~~s are descendents of Phillip Christian and Anna. Family lore is
that Litzingers and Litsingers are cousins from Germany.
Any connections are welcome- I have much more on ~~~~~~~~~~s in America
thanks to Leonard ~~~~~~~~~~ in Knoxville, and am specifically searching for
information about the family in Germany.
Happy Hunting!
Christian ~~~~~~~~~~
