Have death certificate. Shows fathers name as James M., hence my guess he
might have been a Junior, although his son, my father used Junior after his
name. Mothers maiden name unknown.
Age = 54 years, 2months, 21 days. Date of birth given as May 26 18XX
(illegible). Calculates to 15 May 1874.
Seems as though the IGI James is out of range where dates are concerned.
I have spent a lot of time (& money) and have not found anything. No one in
the family can (will) provide any info. Very frustrating. Oh well, such is
life....
