I am looking for any information on the Friday,
Freitag or Piatec family. Harry P. Friday was my
husband's grandfather. He was born in 1867 in WI and
the 1910 Census shows his father from Germany/Poland
and his mother from Germany. The 1930 Census shows
them from Canada. I think they probably came to
Canada first and because the the sensitivity in 1930,
he told the Census taker they were from Canada
originally. I would be looking for the surname
Friday, Freitag or Piatec. I do not know his parents
names and could not find Harry on the census (under
Friday) until 1910 in Menominee County MI. I do know
that in 1894 he married Flora C. Andrews, born in WI
of parents from NY. Any information would be
helpful.<<
