Howdy Y'all,

I am searching for information on JOHN GILLESPIE b. abt 1813 in PA who
married MATILDA SCHRADER b. abt 1824 in PA. They had 4 children,
namely: ANDREW b. abt 1841; SAMUEL DEXTER b. 1844 in Westmoreland
County, PA, d. 08 Feb 1883 in Wheeling (Ohio County), WVA; HESTER b.
abt 1851 in PA and WILLIAM b. abt 1855 in PA.

SAMUEL DEXTER married MARY DENORA TRISLER on 14 Jan 1866 in West
Alexaner (Washington County), PA. He fought For the Confederacy in
the Civil Was and was with Co. H., 15 W. Va. V. I. , 8th A. C..

SAMUEL and MARY produced 8 children, namely: CHARLES H. ;GEORGE R.(who
married a woman named FLORENCE and they had 3 sons); JOHN H.; LUKE S.
(who married a woman named TILLIE who was part indian. He worked for
the Fire Department in Wheeling, W. Va. and was ultimately the Fire
Chief); MARY A. (Molly) (married HARRY TIPPETTS. They had a son HARRY
TIPPITTS Jr who lived with hin in Wheeling and they had 3 or 4
children); SAMUEL Z. (who married EMMA SELMA WHEELER on 07 Jun 1905 in
Wheeling. They had 2 children: RALPH and SELMA) ; CORA MAE (married
FRANK TAYLOR. They had 2 children: LEE and ALICE; and JAMES FITTON
(my grandfather)(married SARAH MARGARET McNULTY on 22 Apr 1893. They
had 9 children the first of which was JAMES FITTON Jr who was born 21
Dec 1893 in Wellsburg (Brooke County), W. Va. All the rest were born
in various places in Indiana.

Thank you for all your patience to have read all of this but I have so
many blanks that I am almost desperate.
