Hello,
My Gillespies are from Scotland. My great grandmother
Agnes Wylie Gillespie
was born in Bridgeton,Scotland in 1866 to Peter and Janet
(Wylie) Gillespie.
They seemed to travel a bit, their 1st child Barbara (1857)was
born in
Edinburgh, 2nd child Mary(1859) born in Kilmarnoch, third
child Jane(1860) was
born in Calton, and the rest were born in Bridgeton.
They are, in order:
Eliza 1862
Peter 1864
Agnes Wylie 1866
James 1868
Catherine 1871
Peter (the Sr.) was born in 1834 to Peter and Mary (Turner)
Gillespie and Janet
Wylie was born in 1834 to James and Barbara (Pratt) Wylie.
Anyone related to this line? Let me know.
