Wish I did have something new to report. I too feel that Joseph is a good prospect for father of my Green Berry G. Appears he was in Spartanburg at the right time. Also Elizabeths move to Gordon Co.,GA could be more than a coincidence. Green Berry G is in census records of 1830,40,60, and 1870-- Green Berry G. Jr said he had 2 brothers that lived to be adults-- their names are lost in the 1850 census--[G.B Sr moved to Itwamba Co MS in 1870 and lived next to James M. Gillespie, possible he is a son-- would be nice to find a son named Joseph.
