Hi Everyone,

We have had several new members, so I thought I would send my
information again, and invite the rest of you to do the same. Maybe
some of my "folks" have joined -- I hope so!!!

My 5th g-grandparents were Frances "Franky" EUBANK and Joseph GILMORE of
Albemarle Co., VA. I don't know when or where they were born. Her
parents were Hannah and John EUBANK. Frances and Joseph Gilmore had
the following children:

1. John - b. 3 Sep 1770, Albemarle Co.

2. Catherine "Caty" - b. 9 Mar 1773, Albemarle; m. 28 Oct 1793 to
William FERGUSON. They later moved to Barren/Allen Co., KY. (My 4th
g-grandparents).

3. Elizabeth - b. 13 Aug 1775, Albemarle; m. 13 April 1795 to John
WEATHERRED. They moved to Sumner Co., TN around 1795-7. (Also my 4th
g-grandparents).

4. Annah - b. 16 Oct 1776, Albemarle; m. 28 Mar 1799 to Jacob CLOAR.

5. Frances - b. 13 Aug 1778, Albemarle; m. 14 Nov 1797 to Thomas S.
MEADOR. They also moved to Sumner Co., TN

6. Mary - b. 21 Oct 1781, Albemarle; m. 11 May 1815 to John TOOLEY.
They also moved to Sumner Co., TN and they are ancestors of Barbara
Mandrell, the singer. He later moved to Polk Co., MO.

7. Thomas - b. 25 May 1784, Albemarle. He moved to Sumner Co., TN.

8. William B. - b. 25 May 1784, Albemarle; m. 10 Apr 1817 to Elizabeth
EUBANK and they moved to Rockingham Co., VA.

9. Eubank - b. 24 Jan 1790 in Albemarle.

10. Joseph - b. 24 Aug 1791 in Albemarle; m. 1 Sep 1817 Mary Ann
Harlan. He also moved to Sumner Co., TN.

The Eubank family moved to Monroe Co., KY and perhaps some of the
Gilmores moved there, too. Descendants of these families later moved to
Hickory/Polk/Lawrence Co., MO.

If anyone knows anything about these folks or anyone who does, I would
be forever grateful if you would share this with me.
