Don't know which Newcastle you are referring to, but that story has been
around here in Ontario as well. I heard about it last year, but do not know
of anyone who was affected by it. Forwarned is forearmed, as the saying
goes. But then again, is it another "Hoax"??

supermarket ). The woman finds a space and then is either locking, or
returning with her shopping and unlocking, her car. She is then approached
by two harmless looking men, one from the front and the other from the rear
of the car, so that she is sandwiched between the two of them. They then
talk about perfume, asking which one she is wearing or which is her
favourite etc. They go on to say that there is to be a new one launched very
soon and would she like to buy some at a greatly reduced price and offer her
the chance of sampling the smell - for goodness sake do not accept the
offer. The bottle contains an obnoxious liquid which, when sniffed, makes
you immediately pass out!!! They then rob you of everything you have and
vanish.

suspicious - just three people talking between cars - no shouting or screams
etc.

your area but at least you have been forewarned.
