Thank you to everyone who answered my question on Whitesmiths. I really
appreciate the help. I wonder if the occupational name exists today...
Could I request another favor? A lookup on the 1861 census for VOWLES,
possibly at Cross Inn in Llantwit Fairdre. (That's where they were in 1881)
I believe the father was William.
Mother = MatildaAnn, b.1822 Somerset.
Children = Charles b.1851, James b.1858 and John b.1860 all in Monmouthshire.
Thanks in advance
