Hi Sara

1901 census for England and Wales is on
http://www.1901census.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ where you can search for
free but have to pay for census images or full transcriptions.

There were 21 people in Aberdare called Lewis THOMAS, ranging in age from 1
month to 77 years, 85 people aged 1 to 78 called Margaret THOMAS and 146
called Thomas THOMAS.

There is an address search on the 1901 census, but you have to pay for it.

If you give more information about Lewis John THOMAS, such as when he was
born, it may assist listers with partially-functional software for analysing
1901 census search results to find the family you want.

Jeff
