Dear Lynne and other Listers, I have followed up the
suggestion that Thomas and Isabella may be buried at
Cathays Cemetery. Knowing the date of death helped
also. I would like to let everyone know of the
excellent service provided by the Cemetery. They
have the burials on a database, and they provided the
details of both Thomas's burial in 1927 and that
Isabella was buried in the same grave in 1932. I
just telephoned them at 029 2062 3295 and I was given
the information while I hung on. There was no
charge, and they are even going to see if a photo can
be taken of the grave, although they told me that area
of the cemetery is rather overgrown, and there may not
be a headstone anyway - also no charge for this. A
really wonderful service.
