Hello Paul,
My line also, on my father's side. The information I have comes
from "The Descendants of Charles Glidden of Portsmouth and Exeter,
N.H." compiled by George Walter Chamberlain, edited by Lucia
Glidden Strong, 1925
We have some of the same data and we have some differences. I'll
comment on each area...

Yes, I have their marriage date as 7 Apr 1658. Charles was born
about 1632. Charles and Eunice were living in Exeter 6 Jun 1707.

Same here.

Chamberlain has Eunice' mother as Abigail Benson daughter of John
and Mary Benson. I have in my database that Mary's surname was
Williams but I don't have the source handy.

As Chamberlain's book was published nearly 80 years ago there may
have been more research done since that time. A couple years ago a
Rev. Charles E. (Ted) and Doris Glidden were writing a sequel to
the 1925 edition. I didn't manage to submit my data in time for the
targeted cut-off date and I haven't been informed of any finalization.
Some observations from Chamberlain --
He traces the line back two more generations beyond Richard, his
parents being William and Ursula Gliddon and grandfather as John
Gliddon.
He spells the name as Gliddon for those on the other side of the
Atlantic, and he finds the name spelled several different ways on
this side including Gleddin, Gleden, Gleeden, Glidden, Gliddon,
Glitten, Glitton and Glytten.
I hope it helps. You can see my Glidden line at
http://www.mdwsweb.com/genealogy/sylvester.html , my most recent
Glidden ancestor being #7 Phebe Elizabeth Glidden.
Regards,
David
