Jerry:
I don't know the truth I just thought I would share my finds so that
others can decipher. But I find no Thomas in this line close enough to Eli
except maybe one that is a brother. Except one way far back. But you need to
look into the Idea that of Ruth Banfield's line and although David said
>According to my Eaton database, done by Nancy Malvesta, Ruth's father was
>Samuel Banfill, Sr., born 1752. Her mother is unknown. She lists the Glines
>line as Eli, Thomas, Eli, John, John, William. She does not have a last name
>for Abigail.
>As you probably have discovered Banfill and Banfield are interchangable in
>both spelling and pronounciation.
>David
But according to her birth and other records I found it is Joseph and Sarah
Moulton, and when you get into the Banfield's or the name being the same
Banfill's of this line of Joseph and Sarah Moulton then these families of
Ruth's are the ones that went into Preble, Ohio.
So if you find a Thomas that fits as Isaac's father then that takes you way
away from the families that all went to Ohio.
Just my thoughts. In reading what David also sent then Eaton, Carroll, NH
did not become Carroll county until 1840. Before 1840 it was Eaton, Strafford
Co
Here is the film # that might help out. I have never found a film for Eaton,
Carroll, NH and that has been my trouble when I try to help Caren with her
records. All I find below is one for Eaton, Strafford,NH this has caused me
great confusion because I would see records on Ancestral File and the people
would be born in Eaton, Strafford, and died in Eaton, Carroll.
Town records, 1784-1833
Authors: Eaton (New Hampshire). Town Clerk (Main Author)
Note Location
Film
Town records FHL US/CAN Film # 0015129
AND THEN BELOW IS WHAT I SENT DONNY THE OTHER DAY.
ALL MIGHT NOT BE CORRECT LIKE THE LAST TWO CHILDREN JAMES AND THOMAS. It is
up to you, and who ever's line this is to take the clues and decipher it. I
am only sharing what I found, to add to the clues.

The last two I am confused on, but you can see where Isaac and maybe a few
others that was mentioned in Davids records that married those different
people might fit here.
So this is where your Isaac would fit as Child #3 I placed him there in my
records with link challenged.
