Oh my gosh, I just now realized that I forgot to look for my Godwin family on the 1881 index for Gloucester. I found James Godwin age 77 and wife Lucy Godwin, age 81, on the 1871 census. At the time they were living at No.8 St. John's Bridge, St.John Baptist, Bristol. It was my thought that Lucy and James died before the 1881 census, but I never bothered to look. My cheeks are red with embarrisment. Can someone out there please help me.
1. Is there any James Godwin, age 87 or Lucy Godwin age 91 living anywhere in Gloucester.
2. Are there any Godwin's (possibly James' children) living in St.John Baptist, Bristol.
3. Any Godwin in their 70's or 80's who was born in Laventon, Somerset.
