Hello Hazel and Gary,

Green Bottom, is a Hamlet in the Forest of Dean. It is situated in between
Littledean and Mitcheldean. There are only about 15 houses there. I think
it generally comes under Littledean.

Kind regards

Sarah

Hi Hazel
As a newcomer to this list , i found that green bottom is not a census place
as such but is mentioned as a birth place about ten times on the 1881 ,now
the youngest of these was aged 7 ,so it was still around c 1873, also a
search found that most of the "bottoms ,seem to be in the "bitten " wherever
that is and around bristol st george , census areas.
guess work of course.

numbers please. I cannot find GB listed anywhere and I really would like to
find my ancestors.
