Max,
What a good idea. In other words once you have eliminated the known couple
from the two possible marriages then you can post the other couples details.
Well you struck gold with your example!
Catherine Maud JULIAN was the daughter of Samuel and Georgina JULIAN who
lived in my current residence Jersey Villa, Hewlett Road, Cheltenham between
1856 and 1875. Samuel was an Irish born landed proprietor and Georgina had
been born in Madras.
Lieutenant William Henry G. GOODLAKE and Catherine Maud had two sons Thomas
J. b.1878 and Samuel J.G. b.1879 before William's death just before the 1881
census. By 1901 Samuel J.G. GOODLAKE was a lieutenant in the 4th Royal
Munster Fusiliers.
I would be delighted to hear from anyone researching these families.
Here's my contribution to Cheltenham marriages:
Cheltenham June Qtr 6a 760
William Joseph LUCKHAM & Margaret Jane BEDENHAM
