Saw your post & I think we have a connection. I also have John Gordon
b.1788 in Stokes Co.,N.C. m.on 11/23/1834 in Stokes Co.,N.C. to Mary
Tuttle b.9/22/1790 N.C. dau. of John Tuttle & Anna Barbara Eliz. Frey
(I have the Tuttle side back to the 1500's & the Frey side back to I
think the 1200's)John Gordon was the son of William Gordon b.1750
d.1790 N.C. son of William Gordon b.1714 Clyde, Scotland.
The children I have for John Gordon & Mary Tuttle are:
Joshua b.1813, L.D. b.1820, Thomas b.1829, & Jacob C. b.1832.
I descend form L.D. & Elizabeht Ross & I'm looking for all the info. I
can get on these 2. I had always wondered what the "L.D." stood for, now
I know the L. stands for Lorenzo(Thanks!!).
Do you have any info. on Elizabeth Ross?
