This sounds like your Robert GORDON might be connected to the Samuel GORDON
family in Brick Church Neighborhood of Giles Co., Tenn. Samuel and some of
his family were in Maury Co. in 1820 census. There was a David GORDON in
this family......

I just got some more information on my Tennessee Gordons. I have a William
Henry Gordon who was born October 20, 1854 in Tennessee. He married first
Mary Mullen and then Salena McGee. He had several children all born in the
Milan and Medina, Tennessee area. I just found out that his father is
Robert G. Gordon. I assume he would have been born between 1820 and 1825.
Is there anyone out there that has a Robert Gordon that would fit in this
time frame in this area? This information came from W.H.'s death
certificate. It does not give any information on Robert's wife. W.H. also
had a brother named Dave (who had a son named Bluford).
