I'm trying to track down my line of Graces also and my father believes his
grandfather came from Alabama in the late 1800s and settled in
Nacogdoches/Shelby County, Texas. His name was Milliard Grace and he married
Theodocia Strahan in Texas. He was a woodsman and came to Texas for the
lumber mills. He died in the early sometime between 1900 and 1910. He was
white and this is all I have on him. If anyone recognizes this name or
