Hi cousins,

I know I mentioned this a long time ago, but thought I would give you a memory
jog.

If you leave the subject line BLANK when sending messages to a Rootsweb list,
the not-so-SmartList software reads it as a subscribe/unsubscribe request, or
an appeal for help to the listowner. The software then tries to subscribe the
person, but can't because they are ALREADY subscribed, so the listowner is the
only one who receives it!

As you know, we aren't very picky about WHAT you put in your subject line,
but, please, do put SOMETHING! I imagine the only reason I don't have a
problem with this is that my software won't LET me send something with a
totally blank subject line! <grin>
