Hi:
In your message you said Jesse and William were married the same year.
I don't have Jesse and Lucinda's marriage date, and would appreciated it if
you would share it. they are hard to track! I have some info that says
Lucinda was born in NY, not proven yet, and two of their children Electra &
Erastus were both born in NY, too. am working on the Census, and hoping to
prove their children, soon. Thanks for your response, Bj

Mary Lou:
I am so happy that you sent this list to me, Thanks! I am a bit slow in
reading just what it means. Would you be kind enough to help me decipher it,
a bit? My Jesse was born in 1792 according to his death record. Do I
understand this correstly to read this is the 1792 Cs, or could that be the
year of birth? Do you have any info on Jesse's marriage? I have a weird idea
maybe he had two wives?
The info I have is that he and wife Lucinda ______were born in VT, he in
1792, Lucinda in 1798, had a child Electra, b. 1823 in NY; another Benoni,
b. 1834 in IL; Alzina, my 3GGrandmother in 1832 in Fulton co, IL; Elias, b.
1837 in IL. I also found an Eurastus (Erastus) b. abt 1817, NY, who came
about the same time to Iowa from IL, as did Samuel, b. 1851 IL, and
Sylvester, b. 1821, IN. I find a William on each Cs. Do you think your
William could be the father, or he sure could be a brother depending on his
birth year. I would appreciate hearing from you, and apologize for being so
slow to respond to your message. I am working on a book, and several lines,
and just get behind, much to far. I'm sorry. Thanks, Bettijane Larson

Mine is William Graves who appears full grown in Chester Vermont where
he
marries Betsey Morey or Betsy Thayer in 1792 and then raises his family
in
Mt. Holly, Vermont. If you should trip over them anywhere please let me
know. Jesse and William got married in the same year, maybe they were
brothers??????
