"Benton Greathouse-Wheeling

Greathouse, Benton, 74, of Mahan Lane, Follansbee, died Thursday, January 26,
2000, in Wheeling Hospital. He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburg Steel Corp.,
Coke plant, and a Navy veteral of World War II. He was preceded in death by his
first Wife, Margaret Ida Greathouse and his second wife, Ruth Ellen Greathouse,
his parents, Lenzie and Lucinda Margaret Brown Greathouse, three brothers, three
sisters. Surviving are two sons, Robert of Steubenville, James of Jacobsburg,
three daaughters, Catherine Dillon of Follansbee, Marianne Kerr of McDonald, PA,
Floria Lee Verstratten of Richmond, OH, his companion, Margaret Freshwater of
Colliers, a sister Lena Gray of Paden City, six grandchildren, six
great-grandchildren. Arrangements by James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV.
Interment in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, with full military
honors by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.
