Hello everyone,
could someone help me with the following
question please?

In mid 1918, would an ex patriot Britain who was living in
the U.S.A. have to travel to Canada to volunteer to the
Canadian Expeditionary Force, or could he perhaps volunteer
from within the U.S.A.? (The soldier in question was living in
New Jersey prior to his enlistment.)

T.I.A. and best wishes from Roger Capewell
