Can anyone out there shed any light on HMS Alexandria on which ship my
Grandfather went to France in July 1916?

The ship sailed from Southampton on 26 / 27th July 1916 and deposited its
cargo of Huntingdonshire Cyclist Territorials at Rouen in France. Included
on the ship was my Grandfather, and it is from his notes that the
information is taken.

I have tried the records of troop ship sailings at the PRO but could find no
trace of such a ship or sailing in that period.

Any help gratefully received.
