Hello again all,

I've come into possession of a "thingy" which was amongst the possessions of
an Officer from the Machine Gun Corps. To me it looks like some sort of
gauge (what would I know!), but it bears no manufacturers marks or anything
else which could aid identification.

There's a half decent scan of the item on my website at

identify what it is, or even what it isn't, I'd be most appreciative.
