Dear Learned Listers,

William Edwin BROMHAM, aged 21, enlisted in the 63rd Provisional Batt T(?)7
on the 9th December 1911.
On May 10th 1916 he was issued with Army Form E.511 stating that he, now
Lance Coporal 856 of the
Middlesex 9th Battalion, was "no longer physically fit for War service" and
that his total service in the
TERRITORIAL FORCE was 4years,154 days inc. 1 yr 280 days embodied service,
none overseas.
Would W. E. BROMHAM have seen active service. If so would he have been issued
with a
British War or Victory medal?
Will his records be found at the PRO, if not burned of course.
He suffered dreadful ill health throughout his life & died aged only 47.

Thanking you in advance

Gill Shaw

Grand daughter in law to said Mr Bromham
