Hi everyone

This is my first posting to this list and my question is something of a long shot, but here goes.

Does anyone know of a list of ships which were sunk by torpedo in the English channel during WW1?

My husband's grandfather was a survivor, but we do not know the name of the ship. He was a marine, his name was WILLIAM BUCK. Any information would be appreciated.
