Ros,
First let me say that I offer no guarantee that these are you grandfather and his brothers, rather that you may use this as a starting point. This information has been gained by use of the SWD CD and a cross check with the CWGC Site to try and make a match or eliminate others. These should be looked upon more as a good guess and further research will need to be done. But then that's half the fun, the hunt. That's what makes it interesting.
Your Grandfather.
There are many Jarvis with Henry or Harry but two with a Birmingham connection and one of those may be discounted due to the wrong first names for his parents so perhaps you may wish to start with:
8324 Sgt Henry Jarvis, 1st Battalion South Staffordshire Regiment
Born Birmingham
Enlisted Birmingham
Date died 1st July 1916
Killed in Action
France and Flanders
Remembered on the Thiepval Memorial.
No Parents listed on CWGC or age at death.
The 1st July 1916 was the first day of the Battle of the Somme so this puts him in the correct area (according to your e mail) what might concern me slightly is that he is a Sergeant which might not tie in with your thoughts that he joined later in the war but was (at sometime) at the Somme.
Brothers.
61372 Private John David Jarvis, Machine Gun Corps (Infantry).
Born Birmingham
Enlisted Birmingham
Date died 25 Feb 1917
Killed in Action
Mesopotamia
Formerly 8441 Worcs Regt.
Age at death 32 years
Son of Joseph William and Louisa
Remembered on the Basra Memorial Panel 41
12919 Private Joseph Jarvis, 3rd Battalion Worcestershire Regiment
Born Birmingham
Enlisted Birmingham
Date died 15 Feb 1915
Died of Wounds
France and Flanders
Buried at Loker Churchyard Heuvelland, West Vlaanderen, Belgium. Grave II D 10
No age at death listed and no parent details, however there is a link between him and John David having both served in the Worcestershire Regiment.
I found one link with a William Jarvis but he is listed on the CWGC with the wrong parents names so have not yet made any other connection with a William.
I am sorry I can not assist you with the "Stamps" you mention perhaps another lister may. WW1 research is not (happily) an exact science with a lot of hard research and at times some guess work to make the bits of the jigsaw fit into place but as I said before that's the fun of it all. I hope you find some of the information helpful and at least a starting point for you even if some of these do turn out not to be your relations.
Regards
Peter.
