John - don't take this as set in stone, depending exactly what underlies
your question, - but at the very end of April (at the beginning of the
period known as the pause in hostilities) 37 Div were a front line division
of IV Corps in the line between south of Arras down to Albert. I think the
distribution was VI Corps north, IV Corps in the middle, V Corps at the
Albert end.
I'm afraid I couldn't expand on that without looking at war diaries -
