Oops, forgot to add this.
Would it be possible he could be listed under a different service number in
the medal rolls and therefore be one of the 29 George Heap that are listed?
and was maybe transferred to the A.S.C later in the war? Or does it simply
look like he never went abroad?
Cheers
Richard

a man have survived, the info I have for him is (from 3 sources - birth
certs 1917 & 1919 and a photo of him in uniform on Horseback):

there but not this chap, there are a total of 29 George Heap's on there, but
non matching this service number, I understand that the 234th company was
part of the 35th division and did serve in France along with family tales
( not the best source I know) which say his collarbone was shattered and he
spent time in a Belgian hospital, so I understand that he should be on the
medal rolls, but how would I move forward with finding some record of this
chap.

service number for reference, and we came to the conclusion that he must not
have served abroad, but now I have the company number together with the
family tales I am sure he must at some point have been abroad.
