As well as those listed there I know of:

The Trench (1999)
Aces High (1976)
Gallipoli (1982)
Regeneration (1997)
Hells Angels (1930)
The Dawn Patrol (1930)
The Blue Max (1966)
The Red Baron (1971)
The Pride of New York (1917)
Over The Top (1918)
Paths Of Glory (1957)
Sergeant York (1941)
The Big Parade (1925)
Wings (1927)
All Quiet on the Western Front (1930)
Lawrence Of Arabia (1962)
The Lost Patrol (1934)
A Farewell To Arms (1932)
Journey's End (I know I've seen it on TV but I can't find details to check
the date!)
J'accuse (ditto - this is supposed to be a marvellous film but I have never
been able to track down a copy)

And I can't for the life of me think of the name of a relatively recent film
that used the WW1 trenches as the setting for a rather effective horror
film. Anyone?

This has actually given me a rather good idea for discussion over on our
sister list, Greatwar-community, see many of you there!
