Hi

Is it possible to obtain a death certicate for a soldier, who died of his
wounds in France.

Note I am still looking for my G Grandfather Alfred James Smith (Died
15/12/1917 of the effects of gas, whilst serving in the 17th London Rifles)

I am hoping to get a 2nd reference to Alfred's age/date of birth.
