I am new to this list and looking for some help on a James Barlow who by
1917 was deceased. I have photo of him in a rather fancy Army uniform, he
was wearing a pill box hat. Family say that he was in the Hussars {hope I
spelt this right} How would I go about finding out which unit he was in and
if family information is correct.
I do not know if died before the WW1. I only know that when his daughter
married in 1917 he was listed as deceased on her certificate
