Just to add a comment to this discussion, and genealogy. We have a family
relative's certificate of honourably discharge from the First World War in
September 1917. Served with Honour and was disabled in the Great War. It
lists his name Private Frederick Watson. The Cheshire Regiment. No.
58394.......................only trouble is he enlisted under a false name,
this is believed to have been aka TED WAITE, possibly died of TB.
