Hi

I know it from the wrong war but does anybody have the book or access to it
- its by the Rev Baker and the name is " What Price Bushido"

My brother was reported lost at sea by the MOD after the war. He was in a
Jap ship that was sunk. My parents went to their deaths believing this lie.

With no help from the MOD and after much research I have found out that he
was transported by sea from Singapore to Rabaul. Here 82 men including the
Rev Baker were left, only 18 survived. The remaining 517 were taken to Ballale,
all were to die basically murdered by the Japs.

If the Rev Baker mentions him in his book then I know he die in Rabaul if
not then I know it was Ballale.

If anyone can help it would be most helpful to know before I die.

His name was Gunner C Nolan of 7 Coast Regt.

Many Thanks

Doreen Testor (Mrs)
