Hi Divina,

Your ancestor was probably enlisted for the duration of the war. That is why it was a short stint.

Subject: [WW1] Also Need help Understanding WWI Records

Hello! A friend got the information below for me from the WW1, OFFICE OF THE
AD. GENERAL 1917-1920. It all relates to my ancestor -- Lawrence J. MORAN --
WWI service in the USNavy. Can someone on the list decipher this summary
record for me? It looks like a rather short stint in the Navy. Was that
unusual?

Thanks in advance

Divina
