Subject: Indentifying Regiment from WWI photo: William Lewis SANDS b 1878 Scotland

Hello Listers!
If someone could help identify the Regiment in which my Gran's cousin
served in WWI by looking at a photo of him in Uniform, I'd very much appreciate
it!
He was William Lewis SANDS, b 23 February 1878 in Old Monkland,
Lanarkshire, Scotland, son of Charles Henry (b 1842 Dallington Sussex) and Harriet
nee ROBINS SANDS. He died on 18 February 1953, in Braidwood, Carluke,
Lanarkshire, Scotland.
I have tried searching for candidates on the documentsonline site using
both the quick and advanced searches for "William Sands" and not one
candidate popped up. In a search for "Sands", I was able to view 4 pages before it
told me "No results". I found one possible candidate (below) but there may
be more?
Any help/advice would be appreciated!
Thanks very much,
Joanne
