Hello Janice and Each.
Firstly to all the people who helped me - Many thanks. I have also answered
off list.
We visited the grave of Sister E M KENT, Territorial Nursing Service, 20
October 1917, last month and paid our respects. Also that of Staff Nurse N
SPINDLER of the QAIMNS 21 August 1917.
No more or less heroes than all the others who served.
I also have a book signed by Elsie Knocker (Gypsy) who served with the
Belgium Army, (Baroness de T'Serclaes)
I know from personal experience the excellent work done by all Army Medics
(except the one who wanted to take my leg off !).
Regards
Steve
