The Marama & Maheno were the two New Zealand hospital ships
(from the Union Steamship Company) in WWI:
HS Maheno
No 1 NZ Hospital Ship (5282t) USS Co. Had 340 cots for patients.
HS Marama
No 2 NZ Hospital Ship (6437t) USS Co. Had 592 cots for patients.
