Steve is correct - this cannot be done unless you find out specific
units for these men. In the case of infantry men this means battalion
information - the Manchester regiment for example had over 40 and the
vast majority went nowhere near Mesopotamia.
Before narrowing down the simple Charles Underwoods it would be as well to
have the microfiched medal cards searched to see if he has been missed
out of the online version. This is a five minute job for anyone
visting Kew and if you can wait a week to ten days I will do it for
you.
I've sent a longer reply regarding the difficulties in what you are
trying to do off-list.
