Hi Athena,

Thank you so much for your offer to help me. I am descended from a Nicholas
KARKOE who was born in Athens in about 1840. His father's name was John, but
that is all I know about his early background. I would like to know more
about his birth details: what his mother's name was, and where in Athens he
was born, and enough info to trace further back if possible.

I don't know when he came to Australia, but he had a daughter Anthea in 1874
at Orange, NSW.
